Good reasons to write
- You found an error, or a passage that is no longer current
- A term in the guide is unclear and you think it should be explained
- There is a part of a lab report the guide does not cover and should
- You would like to quote or reprint a section
- You are writing on behalf of a publication
Corrections come first. If a description of laboratory practice here does not match what you
know, tell us where and, if you can, what you are relying on. A source makes it quicker, but a
well-founded doubt is enough for us to look again.
What we are unable to do. We cannot look at your results, and please do not
send them. We do not interpret reports, suggest tests, or comment on what a figure might mean
for you. That belongs with the clinician who ordered the test. Nothing is sold on this site, so
there are no orders, accounts or deliveries for us to answer questions about, and we hold no
records about any reader beyond the emails they send us.
